Firstly, if you’re wondering what’s unique about this cream and why’s it called a barrier+ tiple lipid-peptide face cream. I’m going to explain it to you. But the importance of a barrier cream is it helps maintain the skin’s physical barrier. By protecting it from irritants. Which will keep the skin from drying out.
Skinfix uses a 3% Patented Triple Lipid ComplexTM technology, 3% Peptide Protein blend, and 3% Seaweed Hyaluronate Blend. The patented triple lipid complex helps to replenish the skin barrier lipids. Such as ceramides and fatty acids. The peptide protein blend supports the skin barrier function. Protecting the skin from radical damage. And the Seaweed Hyaluronate blend pulls moisture into the skin.
All this makes the Skinfix Barrier+ Triple Lipid-Peptide face cream a favorite! Because it does what it claims to do. And it has become my holy grail! And most importantly, if you have sensitive skin as well, this is fragrance-free so it doesn’t cause any irritation.
As I said, I’ve been using Skinfix’s hand repair cream for several years now. Recently, my skin has been easily irritated and reactive. And dryer than ever! Knowing how much I loved their hand cream, I thought why not try their face cream? And I’m so happy I finally did! Skinfix moisturizer is thick! It’s a thick face cream! I personally love how thick this moisturizer is because it is exactly what my skin needs. It doesn’t feel greasy on the skin, it absorbs beautifully! Leaving the skin moisturized throughout the day. However, if you find the consistency too thick for you this works great as a night cream!
Skinfix Barrier+ Triple Lipid-Peptide Cream Review
Because of its thickness, usually, one pump is good enough for me. If my skin is feeling like it needs a bit more I’ll sometimes use 1-1/2 pump – 2 pumps. Unlike other moisturizers, I can apply this once in the morning let it settle and then apply my SPF. I never feel as if my skin is drying out as the day goes on. Never do I have to reapply. From there I can go on with my makeup. The Skinfix Barrier+ wears beautifully under makeup! No pilling, breakouts, or irritations.
Skinfix Barrier+ is noncomedogenic so it doesn’t clog pores. And I haven’t noticed any pore clogging on myself. Instead, I’ve personally noticed improvements in my skins texture and appearance. Fine lines are less noticeable every time I use this face cream. And with my sensitive skin I love that I can use other actives (such as AHA’s, BHA’s, and Vt. C) along with this face cream and my skin isn’t irritated.
If you have dry skin, sensitive skin, and you’re looking for a moisturizer that won’t irritate your skin, clog your pores, or break you out. I can’t recommend this moisturizer enough! It’s an absolute favorite and holy grail status!
